| Mirena Coil
Do you need very reliable long term reversible contraception that will also control heavy periods? The Mirena intrauterine system is a coil coated with progesterone which is easily inserted at the Womens Health Clinic by Dr Rachel Mackey. It lasts for 5 years and releases a very small amount of hormone daily. It is also very useful in controlling heavy periods. It is suitable for almost all women, including those who have not had children. Its effects are completely reversible within days of removal.

| New Fertility Service
We are delighted to announce the introduction of ovulation induction at the Womens Health Clinic. We have always provided an investigative service for women with fertility issues, with blood tests on site, and sperm count and ultrasound arranged. We can now offer ovulation induction with clomiphene citrate (Clomid) for women who are not ovulating naturally. This is done in association with Ultrasound Dimensions in Blackrock.
